John and Laurie Ritchie purchased a former horse farm in Hephzibah, GA in December 2007. As the two 50-something year olds began to discuss becoming first time farmers, one thing was very clear in both their minds. EVERYTHING they grew or raised would be done sustainably and cleanly—the way food was meant to be grown, raised, and eaten.
